Take the method with you
One source.
Two useful outputs.
Practise turning a notice into something another person could use. Then try a changed task—not the same answer with new names.
Paper and a pen are enough. No live AI or account needed. The two notices are fictional; this is practice, not a real event. Nothing is sent or submitted.
A small lesson, not a score
- Make: repair an unreliable reminder using its source notice.
- Change the task: use a different notice to make a helper checklist with a calculation and a missing detail.
- Check: compare your own attempt with the separate checking guide. Record help honestly; corrections are useful.
- Take away: keep a six-step method for your next harmless task.
Work at your own pace. You can stop, skip or ask for help. A successful fictional exercise is not proof of independent real-world skill or retention.
Try with AI—or without it
The prepared draft models the kind of mistake an AI can make; it is written for this lesson, not captured from a model. You do not need an AI to repair it.
Optional: use a provider you already choose
Copy only the fictional notice and task, never personal details. Ask it to use only the notice and mark unknowns. Read the exact text before pasting. That provider receives what you paste under its own terms; accounts, free limits and costs vary. Learn4Free does not send it for you. Check every claim yourself and record AI help. A new provider does not inherit your previous conversation.
Learning with someone else?
Give the learner only the worksheet first. Keep answers out of sight until their first attempt is finished. The checking guide includes a respectful support protocol; it does not authorize recruitment or data collection.
