Learn4Free — fictional practice https://learn.free4allhub.com/lesson-worksheet Fictional practice · learner worksheet Make it useful.Check what changed. Write on paper or in your own text editor. This page does not collect or save answers. Use your browser’s Print command for a paper copy, or download the text version. Print/save does not submit anything. Before going offline: save the separate checking guide as lesson-checks.txt from https://learn.free4allhub.com/lesson-checks.txt. Keep it closed until both first attempts are finished. 1. Repair a reminder Source A — fictional seed-swap notice Saturday 16 May, 10:00–11:30 am. Willow Hall, side entrance. Bring up to three labelled seed packets. Attendance is free. Children must come with an adult. No booking is needed. Prepared, unreliable draft: “Come to the seed swap on Sunday 17 May at 10 am. Bring at least three packets and pay $5 at the main entrance. Book before Friday. Children can come alone.” Your task: Write a short, corrected reminder using only Source A. Include the end time. Do not invent an organizer, contact number or parking information. My corrected reminder: How I compared every detail with the notice; what I removed or changed: Before opening answers, mark the help you actually used: none / a hint or guidance / a worked answer or someone doing it / AI. More than one can apply. 2. A changed job: prepare a helper checklist Put your first answer out of sight. This time you are not writing a reminder. Source B — fictional craft-table notice Sunday 7 June, 2:00–3:00 pm. Cedar Room, library ground floor. Helpers arrive at 1:40 pm. There are 12 activity places. Each place needs two sheets of coloured paper. Paper comes in packs of 10 sheets. Scissors are already provided. The notice does not say where finished crafts should be left. Your task: Make a checklist a helper could follow: arrival, place, materials and end-of-session action. Work out the fewest whole packs needed, show your calculation, and write one question for the organizer about the missing detail. Do not make up the answer. My helper checklist: My calculation and how I checked it: The missing information and my question: Before opening answers, record support used for this task: none / hint or guidance / worked answer or someone doing it / AI. Reopening an answer is help, not a failure. Keep my first attempt unchanged here or on another sheet before correcting: 3. Check, correct, take away After both first attempts, open your saved lesson-checks.txt or visit https://learn.free4allhub.com/lesson-checks.html. Compare details, not just how polished your writing sounds. Keep the first attempt and correction separate. What I corrected, what remains uncertain, and what help I needed: My portable method Goal: name who the output is for and what they should be able to do. Safe input: use harmless facts; leave out private details. AI is optional. Draft: make a first version manually or ask for one. Treat it as unverified. Independent check: compare each claim with the original; recalculate numbers without trusting the draft. Correct: fix conflicts; label missing information and ask rather than invent. Decide: keep, revise or do not use it. Review permission before sending anything. Do not use this exercise as professional advice. For private, high-stakes or safety-critical decisions, stop and use an appropriate qualified person or authoritative source. Choosing not to use AI is a valid skill. A new harmless task I could try later, and the check I would use: These notes are your reflection, not a grade or verified learning record. A later task would provide different evidence from repeating this worksheet.
